Pipe Organ Festival Slated for Toronto

A new festival dedicated to “pipe organ innovation” is set to open Sept. 29 in Toronto, promising “a radically diverse three-day celebration of the pipe organ’s immense and expressive sonic palette.” FutureStops Festival is part of a program presented by the Royal Canadian College of Organists.

Arraymusic will perform Raven Chacon’s Pulitzer-prize winning Voiceless Mass, for the first time in Canada. The event will also feature Amina Claudine Myers performing her Improvisational Suite.
