M. Joakim is a lighting and projection designer, scenographer and stage manager. She also makes music as a solo artist under the name Saturn City, as a member of both Processor and No Colour Blue.

On June 11, she will present her “synthesis of electronic disciplines using a live set of hardware-generated electronic music,” at The Music Gallery in Toronto. That’s part of their You In Mind series.

We talked about her plans for the show, music and the power of lighting.
