More than 100 songs and multitracks from The Sun Records catalogue have become available for sampling. A deal struck with Tracklib was announced May 23.

“There is so much untapped potential in the historic Sun Records catalog, all gems waiting to be discovered and reimagined into completely new works of art,” says Chase Gregory, senior director A&R at Sun Records.

Tracklib is a subscription service that allows music producers to access files for properly approved use.

“This marks the re-introduction of Sun’s catalog to a wider audience, and we can’t wait to see how it will be discovered and reinvented by the hundreds of thousands of sampling artists and producers in Tracklib’s user community,” says Pär Almqvist, Tracklib co-founder and CCO.
