BADD PRESS Tip Sheet – 2017.04.05

C418

Enjoy my friends.

C418 – Dief. Out of Germany. This gorgeous ambient mini-album maintains a 90 BPM count throughout its seven tracks. Daniel Rosenfeld – best known for his Minecraft video game compositions – is the man behind C418.

Neidex – What I Said (Original Mix). “I will be the greatest jobs president that God ever created.” Awesome free download from 0600 Records for your next house party/poli-sci class.

Skyrec – 1997 (Feat. Mind To Mind). Another free download. Love this future bass track’s reggae vibe.

Julian Velez – Speechless. Three new minimalist tracks on the 1994 Music label.

Mélodies Souterraines – Syncboy – Red. This breaks track comes from the forthcoming Syncboy/Shitcluster/Tolouse Low Trax – “Magnétisme & Vibrations” full-length cassette. MS is looking for 20 sales to finance the project. Impressive first taste.

CRi – Someone Else. Young Art Records is an electronic label to watch. Five tracks here from Montreal’s CRi.

Guerrilla Dub System – Dub Force. Lush, easy dub from the U.K.

Fanu x Coleco – Bristol–Helsinki. Another breaks release. This four-track EP is très funky.

Karen Lust – Vigilax. Does Karsten Pflum never rest? Hot on the heels of his eight-plus-hour epic Sleep Concert, the Danish producer is at it again. Fine stuff.

And in case you missed it…

Forest Swords – Thor’s Stone (Lee “Scratch” Perry remix). From 2014. The track is from Swords’ debut album Engravings.
