Louis Jucker & Le Nouvel Ensemble Contemporain has announced a Sept. 15 release date for its latest, entitled Suitcase Suite. The LP, to be released on Hummus Records, will feature seven tracks recorded with “homemade suitcase instruments” that Jucker built.

The project began as a commission from Le Nouvel Ensemble Contemporain in 2019. Jucker accepted, on condition that he would get to build all of the instruments used.
