Pianist Edouard Ferlet says his new EP Reset is a kind of “dialogue with a second mechanical piano driven by a machine.” He’s promising a follow-up album in the new year, based on the same approach.

“The human aspires to the virtuosity of the robotic gesture while the robot tries to imitate human movement and emotions,” says Ferlet. “It is in this duality that I seek to summon an innovative poetry.”
