A new album by Canadian Nicolas Bougaïeff has been scheduled for a Nov. 11 release by Mute.

Begin Within is the Berlin-based artists’ first for the label since a pair of 2020 releases entitled The Upward Spiral and Higher Up The Spiral.

The new album features a pair of highlights we can’t wait to hear. “On Begin Within, the beginning is in the middle, and the music radiates out from there, so if you listen to the title track in forward and reverse, it’s the exact same thing,” says Bougaïeff. “Inner Pattern is a polytemporal locked groove in the first half, which unfolds in the second half.”
