Stefan Betke says his new Pole LP is “a natural development to the last album. One which goes further and is even more complex.” Tempus, his follow-up to 2020’s Fading, lands Nov. 18 on Mute.

The album’s title is a Latin word that means time. It has a more specific definition in Finnish, Swedish and German – grammatical tense. Pole’s last full-length release dealt with dementia and memory loss.
