Nonesuch has announced the release of a new Joshua Redman Quartet album on Sep. 9. LongGone features the original lineup: Redman on saxophone, joined by pianist Brad Mehldau, bassist Christian McBride and drummer Brian Blade.

The new disc features Redman compositions from the RoundAgain sessions – that album dropped in 2020. We’ve also been promised a live recording of “Rejoice” from the group’s 1994 debut MoodSwing.
