Those of us holding Einstürzende Neubauten tickets back in 2020 are surely pleased to hear that the German act has announced The Year of the Tiger Tour 2022. This after multiple postponements.

From the band’s website: “We have decided to perform our postponed Alles in Allem tour this year … in spite of the difficult ongoing situation in which we all still find ourselves and the current, unbelievably sad developments that have recently been added. We believe that another postponement is unacceptable. We truly want to see our fans again, and we want and need to experience your reactions directly. We need feedback ‒ that’s why we became musicians!”

That note on recent “sad developments” is a reference to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

So far, the announced dates are all European.
