Toronto’s Women From Space Festival has announced its return to in-person programming, beginning Apr. 28. The event promises “a curious blend of experimental song, jazz, electronica and outright abstraction.”

This year’s lineup features multimedia artist Sook-Yin Lee, sister duo PIQSIQ, pianist Marilyn Lerner, trumpet player Nicole Rampersaud, clarinetist Lori Freedman, trombonist Scott Thomson and a long list of others.

Musicworks is the event’s media sponsor. The magazine is organizing a series of talks to accompany the performances.
