OSMR: Elysia Crampton – ORCORARA 2010

This is a repackaging of a 2018 work commissioned by Centre d’Art Contemporain, Geneva for an installation entitled The Sound of Screens Imploding – riveting dark electronics married to spoken word pieces exploring “intergenerational trauma, fugitives of Christian violence in a twilight called Puruma, returning to Mama Cocha, the sea that theorists call Nowhere.”

Kevin Press

One-sentence music reviews (OSMR) are designed to spread the word about as many new releases as possible during the COVID-19 crisis.
