New Adventures in Sound Art (NAISA) is now webcasting episodes of The Moderns Monday to Friday at 8 pm (ET). The non-profit media arts organization features a range of excellent programming at naisa.ca.
The NAISA North Media Arts Centre and Café is in South River, Ontario. It offers exhibitions, webcasts and performances year-round, focused on “sound and listening.”
Soft Alchemy and Susan Frykberg are presenting Reflections on Birth, a multi-channel audio-visual performance on May 11.
NAISA has also issued its 2024 Call For Submissions, which will inform 2025 programming decisions. This year’s theme is “There is Art in Our Nature.” The deadline is May 31.
